FAQs

ANY QUESTIONS?

If you have any further questions, please give us a ring for an informal chat. Or check below to see if we’ve already answered it in our frequently asked questions section.

How does the weather affect the scattering?

The site is high, and exposed to the weather, so care is to be taken in choosing the correct day.

Is there is a maximum limit of people that can attend the scattering?

No, however access to the site is via a gravel track. We have a suitable vehicle that can take up to a maximum of 6 people. If you wish more people to come, please call us to discuss possible transport arrangements.

How do we commemorate the scattering?

We can arrange for a plaque to be mounted on our remembrance wall. This is a great way to permanently commemorate the ceremony and remember your loved ones. We have a number of different options and prices that can be discussed on the phone or in person.

How much does it cost?

Please give us a call to discuss your requirements so that we can provide you with an accurate cost.

Can we revisit the hill to pay our respects?

Of course! We want you to be able to visit the site again, but this will need to be done via appointment only as there is no public access or footpaths near the site. It is a totally private area, which is part of the appeal!

What about the future?

Whilst we cannot guarantee the site will continue to be accessible in 20 years time, the intention is that this should become an integral part of the farm business.
